We are proud that we have the technical tools we need in place to continue to provide Hotline services while allowing our staff to work remotely.<\/p>\n<p>If you need information or support from Advokids&#8217; Hotline, at this time we prefer that you email us at <a href=\"mailto:advocate@adevine.io\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">advocate@adevine.io<\/a>\u00a0and a staff member will respond. If you do not have internet access, you can call\u00a0<b>877.ADV4KID\u00a0<\/b>and leave a message<b>.\u00a0<\/b>Although our staff will be available to callers, with many juvenile courts having closed and more closures anticipated, filing court forms and petitioning for court hearings may not be effective at this time.<\/p>\n<p>If at any time, you feel that a child is at risk of immediate harm, call the police, the sheriff, or<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdss.ca.gov\/reporting\/report-abuse\/child-protective-services\/report-child-abuse\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a0your local county Child Protective Services Hotline<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Updated April 2, 2020: In response to the current pandemic, Juvenile courts across the state have implemented <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.courts.ca.gov\/news\/court-emergency-orders-6794321\">CA Courts Emergency Orders<\/a>. For emergency measures and information from the California\u00a0State Department of Social Services, see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdss.ca.gov\/#covid19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.cdss.ca.gov\/%23covid19&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1587249152489000&amp;usg=AFQjCNG8X9A1b3bd_OtE0aT8nqjDesnKog\">Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Information<\/a>. For <strong>emergency<\/strong> measures implemented by your local county child welfare agency, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdss.ca.gov\/county-offices\">see individual county websites<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Updated April 6, 2020: On April 6, 2020, the Judicial Council issued emergency rules to clarify how trial courts should be operating during the pandemic.
